Ka Won Seng, Mexico City

Ka Won Seng may be the best Chinese restaurant in Mexico City. After a few trips to Barrio Chino and a variety of disastrous meals, finding this place has been one of my biggest joys since moving out here a couple weeks ago. They have a daily dim sum menu posted on a red piece of paper by the cashier. Also, I was very excited to hear that one of their specialties was Cantonese style roast duck! I can't wait to go back.

This is my 3rd day in Mexico City. Things are happening very quickly. They expect buildout to be in 3 weeks, (although from what I can tell, construction has not begun yet). I stopped by the site of the restaurant with Javier, director of Luxury Clubbing Group and Jenny, my fiance.
During my time here in Mexico City, I've been in communication with Joe Elevado, Executive Chef of Pure Management Group, and Aldo Bravo, who will also join Social House Mexico as a chef. I can't wait to get into the kitchen!
